Small Grants - Sharing Good Practice
NASCO is welcoming applications for the ‘Small Grants – Sharing Good Practice’ programme to enable activities related to the International Year of the Salmon (IYS) in countries around the North Atlantic Ocean. This limited funding is intended to support activities related to the International Year of the Salmon in your community or network. The purpose of the funding is to inspire outreach and encourage learning of people of all ages.
Funds are available to organizations, communities or individuals who are in countries who are members of NASCO.
Activities should be undertaken, and the grant spent, within one calendar year from the date the Grant is paid to the Recipient.
There are approximately 19 grants available of up to £1,000 each. NASCO shall pay the Grant to the Recipient in the relevant currency by electronic transfer.
Successful applicants will be informed within two weeks of the deadline for applications.
Grants are to be spent within one calendar year of being received. Materials, announcements or publications produced in connection with the funded activities should use the IYS logo in accordance with the IYS style guide – here. Recipients must ensure the supported activity is registered on the IYS website (https://yearofthesalmon.org) and included in the relevant Party / jurisdiction’s Activity Reports.
Decisions for Grants cannot be appealed.
